"I was getting tired of buying two and three tubes of denture adhesive a month (and I've tried them all and they were not working for me). I carried an extra tube in my purse everytime I left the house.
An invitation to a late dinner turned into a disaster. I forgot to put that extra tube of denture adhesive in my purse. While everyone was enjoying their steaks and chops, I was eating soup. With every spoonfull I took, my dentures kept slipping. I was certain they were going to land on the table.
That is when I made my final decision. The next day, I made my dental appointment and spoke to Dr. Danny Hayes from Advanced Dental Concepts of Winfield. He thoroughly explained the procedure, and made me comfortable with my decision to get dental implants. Of course, I hesitated at first thinking of the pain that I was certain to experience. After all - they were going to be drilling holes into my lower jaw bone. Ouch!! That wasn't something I felt I wanted to do at my 81 years of age.
So, I went home, looked at the brochure from the dental office explaining the procedure. I knew this was the way to go. The appointment was made and after a couple of hours in the dental chair, I had my implants in.
I didn't feel any pain during the procedure or after it was completed. Please do yorself a favor, don't hesitate to have this procedure done. It was a relaxing adventure. Dr. Hayes and his assistants made me feel as part of their family and took special care of me. Thanks to all of them for a job well done. Gotta go now - my corn on the cob is waiting!"

I started as a patient of Dr.Kessler back in 1984, at that time I had been in the careof another dentist for the past eleven years. At my initial appointment with dentist X , I was told that I had some periodontal disease that he could not repair the damage already done however, he could stop it. During the next eleven years I followed dentist X's directions with peroxide washes and other various treatments. One day I had to make an appointment due to the fact that I had a sore spot on my gum. He cleaned around it and prescribed me antibiotic, the spot soon disappeared. Two weeks after I finished the prescription, the spot reappeared as well as another. I made another appointment with dentist X adn was told that there may be nothing left to do but pull my teeth and to obtain dentures. I was shocked, I was 29 years old, not a single cavity in my mouth and never had, and he is telling me I need to get dentures. Needless to say I was devastated. One day I was talking to a friend of mine about the diagnosis my dentist had given me, she happened to be good friends of Dr.Kessler. She implored me not to allow this dentist to pull my teeth, but to seek a second opinion. A few days later she called me, she had talked to Dr. Kelssler about my situation, and he asked that I visit his office for a second opinion. Once Dr. Kessler examined my teeth he suggested that I visit a periodontist, which I did. The periodontist examined my teeth and scolded me for not being there ten years sooner. He explained that the damage was so extensive, that I would be lucky to keep my teeth another ten years, and that 80% of the bone in my mouth was now gone. I had the necessary surgery at the periodontist and became a permanent patient of Dr. Kessler's. That was 26 years ago, I still have my teeth, and the reason is that a dentist, who had no idea who I was, cared enough to direct me in taking the proper steps that would allow me to preserve my teeth. We have always found the staff at Advanced Dental Concepts of Winfield to be very accomodating and friendly. When we arrive for our scheduled appointments, we are greeted as family.
